Chocobooooooooooo! <3
It was raining, and I like Chocobos, so I made a Chocobo coin purse. Need I say more? ~-^

The colors in the picture didn’t really turn out. It’s a nice soft yellow, not as glaring, likewise with the orange, and the color of the eyes is dark blue.

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, considering that this is only my third knitted thing and I had never changed colors in rows before. Or at all really, in knitting. That kind of kicked my butt, but next time I’ll have my revenge! Mwahahaha! :P

Granted, it would probably have turned out better if I had been able to decide how I wanted to make it.

Started out with a tubular cast-on, followed by a bunch of double-knitting. It wasn’t working up fast enough for my taste, so I moved everything onto two circulars and kept going - much faster, but you can kind of tell where I did that. >_>;;

Then the thing with the colors kicking my butt, then I hit the last two rows (that I wanted to be just the orange end of the beak hanging down) and I’m kind of at a loss as to how to do that. I cast off the first yellow stitches (should have done that last row), go through the orange, zigzag around like crazy before casting off the far side in this weird (yet very smooth) slide. Argh.

Yep, definitely need to do more research before I hit the orange part of the next one… ~_^
